Hi

I am sure this is nothing new, but thought I would share anyhow.
I had my Bird up on the hoist to take some photos of the gearbox and engine VIN and was supprised with the gearbox detail markings.

Notice the "676" on the gearbox matches the tag......  :scope:

The number in blue on manual transmissions is also on broadcast sheets in the 'TRANS' box on line 4.

The "Hemi" boxes in 70 all had that lime splash over the casting numbers....an easy way for the line workers to identify parts.

I just bought this one  18 spline  i know its 69 or older can anyone tell me what its out of ??  is it a 69 ???
