That car is really nice Justin, you should put pics of it up more often.  :yesnod:

Fred

Just checked this thread out and there are some really nice cars there.

Thanks!!  I actually need to do a little work to it and repaint it, but I hate to shut it down and not drive it.  I have other projects in the works and I've been planning... as soon as I get one of my other projects running/driving well enough to take to cruise-in's and have a good time with.... then I will park the '66 for some small repairs, upgrades, and an all over paint job.

Here are a couple more pictures.

These next few I was being all "artsy-fartsy".  I mounted a set of vintage wheels and tires that I have and took a few pictures on Instagram.  This was before Instagram was a social page and was NOTHING more than a cool ap where you could take pictures with antique cameras on your phone.

This is a photo taken of my '67 last year when in backyard storage pending the rebuilding of my Holley 2300's.   The windows are covered to protect the new interior as the Arizona sun fades the carpet under that big back window (greenhouse).  As you may be able to tell the monsoon season had started and so all work was suspended for a while until things dried out a bit.

What you are looking at is a $500.00 car.  Minus the drive train (owner had thrown in a non-original 440 short block) and the interior needed new carpet and upholstery).  The body is straight, rust free and has all the chrome intact...even the taillights!  The guy I purchased it from was going to use as a "parts car" for his '66 Charger restoration but decided it was too nice to part out (and it was).
The Charger is almost ready for new paint as the original is faded and shows "patina" on the roof and hood.  It's not shiny like others on this post, but it's all there and will be someday in the future.

Yes, that's my Daytona Clone parked in front of it....before it moved inside for more work.

Typical once a season snow in Chico, CA, a long time ago.

Poor car  looks very sad and forlorn in the snow like that.

Yep, exactly why I took the pic. It looks particularly forlorn since I had just removed the Ansen slots the PO had on it, and had not yet sourced the proper wheel covers.
