plugged everything back in for my dash cant remember were the earth wire goes to . don't remember an earth wire on there as none of the gauges were going when I bought it  :shruggy: :smilie_help:

The cluster has an aluminized finish on it.  It grounds when you screw it to the dash frame.  Self earthing?

Yep, no earth wire on those.  Earth will be the screws holding it to the dash frame.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
