I have a 426 standard Hemi block which is bored 4.290" and in the papers it said:

4.250" 2.20" Stroke Hemi Crank.

How much CUI do the engine have? Someone good to math and can tell me how to figuring it out?

Thx guys!

I doubt that the stroke is actually 2.20 inches. That would give you a cubic inch total of about 250. The habit is to use 2.20 sized rod journals to take advantage of a common Big Block Chevy size.
More likely is that you have either a stock 3.75 stroke or a 4.15.
3.75 gives you about 433 inches. The 4.15 moves it to 480.

Try this :

That will help you calculate the cubes and compression.

The diamond site is a nice one.  The math for the displacement is pretty simple.  The other math gets more complex.  The cu in calculation is done by dividing the bore by 2, which will be the cylinder radius, square this, multiply by pi (3.14), multiply by the stroke (3.75), and multiply by the number of cylinders (8).

(4.29/2)*(4.29/2)*3.14*3.75*8 = 434
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

from your post its a 4.250 stroke, with 2.20 rod journal, so that with 4.290 bore = Your Engine with bore of 4.290 and stroke of 4.250 is 491.46 CID
Your Engine with bore of 4.290 inches and stroke of 4.250 inches is 8,054.96 cc or 8.1 liters
