Anyone see this movie and spot a few Chargers in the background? Or am I going mad?, I think for sure there was a black 68 with a red stripe, And another scene where a couple where parked up one behind the other, Anyone confirm.

I know this is an old topic but I just watched the movie last night. There are at least 2 nice looking second gen Chargers in it. All are in the city scenes with the assassin coming after Halle Berry. There is also a 67(?) Mustang fastback that drives by in the background. I didn't rewind that one to see exactly which year it was.

Courtesy of imcdb.org. They only list 1 Charger though.

I can certainly confirm, the black Charger is mine
There was also a blue '68 about during the filming, I didn't spot that in the film?
Incidentally, these scenes with the Chargers were filmed in Glasgow, Scotland :icon_smile_big:

Watched "Boat Trip" the other night and saw a yellow 3rd gen parked in the street. I was surprised. I've watched the movie many times but this is the first time I noticed it. Or rather it was brought to my attention by the Mrs.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Yeah when I saw Mustang and Charger in the second shot... I thought 'Boy that's a long way to go to pay a .5 second homage to Bullitt'

The blue 68 was parked directly behind the black one (viewed from the front) in the first scene that I saw it in. The actors blocked the grill of the black one so it was hard to verify the year at first but there was enough of the blue car's grill to know it was a 68. There is a much closer shot of the front of the blue one later on. There's also a very close shot of the back end of the black Charger where the stripe is plainly visible. The Mustang shows up driving in at least a couple scenes and parked in at least one more. I deleted the movie from my DVR or I'd go back and document them.

I was going to ask if the movie is worth the watch but you just answered that question!
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I delete everything once I watch it. Lately I've only been able to watch TV sparingly so the DVR fills up then I watch a bunch of stuff and delete it to make room. I once set it to record a series and then there was a "marathon" weekend which filled my DVR with old episodes and blocked the new ones. Movies take up a lot of space so if they are good I'll just buy the DVD from the previously viewed section at Blockbuster. I'm on the fence about this movie. It kept me interested throughout but it was a little strange and probably not something that I want to pull out every couple of months for movie night. By the time I feel like watching it again it will probably be back on cable.
