My charger r/t is a garage queen, she sits patiently in a two stall garage that i built specifically to fit her plus one additional car, with enough room to walk around each.  However, the garage as built has bare rafters and only has pegboard on the walls instead of wallboard like a finished garage should have, and therefore, it is a dust magnet and the cars seem to collect dust 5x faster than the cars do in the attached 2 car garage attached to the house.  I'm thinking i should get a Car Cover, preferably fitted for the charger, but not one of the fancy weatherproof models that cost alot, i'd be happy having a soft cotton or felt cover with an elastic bottom to keep the cover in place.  That should keep the dust down on that car, I used to have a cover for the stealth but it rotted after sitting outside for 6 years or so so i got rid of it before i pulled the stealth back into the garage.

What types of car covers do you use,  what did they cost, where did you order them from?  Appreciate the input.

California Car cover Dust Topper. Had one on a couple cars that live in my garage when not being driven. Good stuff, good rep.

just don't order a cover for a Daytona from them....you will get a standard Charger cover...  :D

no need to order a daytona cover, thats just a pipe dream for me, never even come across a daytona for sale within reason, saw a superbird once for 3k and it was new in 74.  As it is, can't afford any more car toys, no money, no room to store em.  two projects are enough, plus a daily driver for me, then add the wife's and the girls cars.  We're full here.

I got lucky and bought mine from a local a california car cover oh man these are nice and it was custom made for the charger everything just fits down to the antenna hole and louvre window setup curve.

Dude was selling some stuff on craigslist and he happened to pull a cover down which he did not advertise yet and I asked how much he said 50 bucks.  It cost him 300 dollars he said many years ago....

I have a Plushweave from California Car Cover, it is a beautiful cover. It is for primarily indoor storage.

my post above was kind of an "inside" joke..one member here had to call California Cover 3 times to get a correct cover for a Daytona because of the rear wing...he kept getting standard Charger covers.

I got lightweight covers on all my cars in the garage...nothing heavy or expensive...just a cover to keep the dust off....I bought a couple off ebay a while back for $25 each....they do what I wanted them to do

I hate to be the one to ask a dumb or obvious question but is the California Car Cover made by the same folks who make the California Duster?

How did I know Chris would post on this thread.  He doesn't like CCC yet he has two in his garage, and he even paid them to advertise on one of them.  They at least didn't charge me to print their name on mine
