Question - Choosing Tire Sizes

As a reference I selected tire sizes to compare, from various other posts, and shown in the picture (Rear Tires Shown).
When choosing a tire size for Handling vs Acceleration (not considering Suspension),  what characteristics are desirable?  High or Low Aspect ratio,  Large or Small Tire Diameter, Wide or Narrow Rim, etc.

Remember the 90's Pontiac commercial that said "wider is better."  You need a bigger tire-contact patch to hit the street if you're trying to maximize the handling of a big, fat, heavy pig like a Charger.  This will also mean a smaller aspect ratio so there's less sidewall flex, as that is a problem you'll also face.  Buying a smaller aspect ratio'd tire will mean you have to buy a larger wheel as well.  Many of us here are running 18" wheels and in varying widths, with those numbers depending on either the front or rear of the car.  I'm running an 18x8" wheel with 245x45/18 tires, but many people like to stagger their sizes; everyone's needs vary, but the bottom line is if you want better handling you need a wider wheel, tire and a lower aspect ratio for starters...

I didn't use science. I used my eyes.  I liked the looks of the bald dry-rotted 215/65/15's that were on the Charger when I bought it so that's what I went with.
