Spray coat in inner fender

Hi, I was surprised to see that the Charger doesn't have those plastic inner fender that you see on newer cars, meaning that if a stone or gravel picks up from the front wheels it can damage the paint on the outside through the inside (guess you get what I mean). Is there some thick spray coat I can apply on the inside of fender to prevent that from happening? Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Erlend

I like the look of truck bed liner, easy to apply and clean but won't look like it was factory applied. If you want something quick and easy you can buy aerosol cans of undercoating from eastwood or summit.

Or if you want the factory look check out this site:

The factory used a rubberized undercoating similar to the 3M Body Schutz.  I bought a $30 gun (http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/astro-air-undercoating-gun-ucg100-p-11630.aspx) and a couple quarts of Schutz and sprayed the inside of the quarter before it goes in my car.

I all so use 3 M Schutz and like it.

If you want, you can paint over it. Stuff is pretty tough.

Not to hijack the thread but do you guys use epoxy primer or other coating  under the undercoating? or paint. I am working on my 71 and have removed it under back of car (to replace gas tank and lines) and rear wheel wells, I was able to scrape it off and there is still a lot of the paint in tact but surface rust in other areas that I am going to sand and then plan was to epoxy prime or use zero rust and then under coat? I do not want to have to work under there again for a long time so any advice is welcomed.

I used a epoxy sealer American Finishes AP 340 first, then the undercoating. I did use a epoxy primer on the metal repairs, then the epoxy sealer.

Epoxy primer at the very least.  For my undercarriage I am going to do epoxy prime, raptor liner everywhere, and then the 3m schutz in the wheel wells only.
