Hey guys; buttoning up the last of the wiring on my restored 68, and I am trying to figure out the routing for the brown neutral safety switch lead. I am assuming it runs straight from the wiring block on the drivers side firewall, down to the single post connection on the tranny? Can anyone help me out with proper routing as this is very near the exhaust and I would like to keep it from getting melted by routing it wrongly!

The wire passes through an insulated clip on one of the upper bellhousing bolts, then through another insulated clip on one of the tailhousing bolts and then to the NSS from the rear.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
