Anyone knowledgeable on Mr Norm Cars - especially 73 Duster 340 / 4 Speed

Guys, anyone knowledgeable on 1973 Plymouth Duster 340 / 4 speed with the Mr. Norms Paxton Supercharger kit?

A friend is working a deal on one, and he called to see if I know anything about these.  I thought Mr Norm did a lot of Dodges, not Plymouth??  But, I did read that there were two cars that did have the Mr Norms kit on them, one from a Challenger customer that wanted to put the kit onto his Duster.  He had the dealership do the work at this point. 

Any info would be great!

I remember reading something about one back 2007-08 I think might have been 06    ,was not really Mr norm car was from a dealer in   Grand Spalding ILL not from Grand Spalding Dodge Chicago  . don't know if this helps but would be bad to find it was that car

There was an article in Hemmings Muscle car magazine this last year on the Mr Norm's duster 340 w/Paxton kit.  It was a one pager in black and white from back in the day when it came out.  I'd suggest he search there for information, maybe a library or Hemmings would have a record which month it was,  I'd have to go through all of the magazines to figure out which month it was.   It was an available kit from Mr Norm's, and they evidently built more than just two.

Grand Spaulding did a LOT of over the counter work too.  They were most famous for the performance Dodges they sold off the lot but they would do performance work or sell parts to anyone.

The 72 Demon GSS had the Paxton. The 71 Demon GSS was the 340 6-Pack. Mr. Norm sold zero Plymouths new - only used trade-ins. They would have happily sold and possibly installed a Paxton on a Duster....but it would not make it any more desirable than a normal 73 Duster. If there was original service department paperwork showing the install it would make the car a little cooler.
