Well Guys and gals, I decided I wanted the "old school" look on my ride so I bought some new tires and wheels for it. These are the new one-piece all aluminum chromed and drilled specifically for MOPAR Cragar SS wheels.  I put Nitto 555 extreme drag radials on the rear and blackwall B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's on the front.

It drives great with them mounted and looks even better! I hope you enjoy them. By the way, I have manual drum brakes on it and my buddy decided to paint the drums Hemi-orange! I just decided to leave them painted even though they were not originally painted. Easy fix if I decide to go back to natural or black drums.

Thanks for the compliments, fellas. The windshield is the only replaced glass on the Charger. Every other piece of glass is original to the car! The dash-plate is all original, including the dashpad. If you look close, you can still see the burn marks where they used the ashtray and missed a few times. Probably "blunt" marks as they seemed to have a hard time hitting the ashtray!  Ha!

The AM-8-Track radio was recently (by my brother-in-law) completely rebuilt including new drive-belts and works great! He hasn't seen the Charger rebuilt in person but he will definitely approve as he had a 1969 Charger back in the day! He will be here (lives in NW Ft. Worth) in a couple of weeks and I bet he will freak out!

This view of my Charger is one of my favorites. The next one ain't bad either!

Thanks Ghoste, it is a SUPER looking Charger. People scare me trying to take pics with their cell phones while driving!

Just to give you people a little motivation, this was my Charger about 3 years ago!

Nice job Charge69. Cragars fit these cars really nice. Any chance knowing how much $$$ for (2) 15x10 of the same like yours?

Thanks,

Bryan

Thanks again for the kind words to those who have answered!

To VegasCharger, unfortunately, they only make these wheels in 15x7 or 15x8 and do not make them any wider. Each Charger was put thoether with a small amount of tolerance for backspacing of the wheels. The 15x10 might, I said, might have enough clearance  or, if there is enough clearance, you might have problems with fit at the wheel-lip.  Going with a 15x8, I knew there would be no problems for me and they just bolted on!

You can still get the older 2-piece aluminum spoke and steel wheel Cragar SS in a 15x10 size new for about $200 a piece from Jegs and other sources but they are lug-centric and you have to use the washers to make them fit besides them being heavier than mine.

As a side note, I still use left hand lugs on the drivers side an right hand lugs on the passenger side and Jegs did not have a number for Cragar acorn style left-hand (required with this wheel) lugs. I had to go to another brand to get both right and left-handed thread nuts. I actually went with Detroit Wheels 2-piece safety lugs for my wheels and they came out alright.

Just one more gratuitous Charger and tire/wheel shot!

I guess all that really matters is that I am happy with them and I certainly am happy!
