i have a 727 big block  pulled it out and motor out of car the other day everything was fine, stuck it in a different car today and went to hook up the drive line and it will not turn by hand, hook it up to rearend and fire it up and all gears work fine and freely  turn it off and try to turn it by hand with wheel on it and just like it is in park will not work in nuetral or any other gear, anybody have a clue as to what is going on..

Are you trying to turn it in one direction only? The 727 will turn hard in the opposite direction of normal forward rotation but will turn easier in the direction of normal forward rotation.

If it won't turn in either direction the problem is probably a galled rear support; the rear support is aluminum and the steel output shaft sometimes galls the support. When this happens the engine torque will turn the shaft but the human arm can't.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

ya wont turn in any direction, that makes sense i run it in derby car and now have it in another so it very well could have got damaged, do you think it will be okay to run like it is or not.

I wouldn't run it, if the shaft is galled it will eventually seize.
