I have a carter AVS 4615 SA for my 383 4-speed build. I need to figure out what the CFM is on this carb. any sugestions on where to find the answer?
There are few problems in life that cannot be solved with C-4.

I thought all of those oem AVS models were around 625?

Weird, the Carter manuals I have for 65-79 don't have CFM ratings for the 68-9 year carbs but they do for all the other years???

yea...around 625 for them...no more than 650 at most

I agree.  that is what I heard on my carb and I have the same carb as you.  typically, 625 cfm was stock on the 383's with the 4 bbl.
