Does anyone who has a 74 charger se have any recommendations fo a performance
or better quality brakes to replace the old ones?
Im looking for a complete 4 wheel Kit.
Or are the original ones ok?

mmmm... I'm satisfied with upgrades done on original system. Semi metallic raybestos rear shoes, ceramic bendix pads and drilled and slotted centric rotors.

dunno what exactly you expect, but these are noticeable over plain stock, no mods required ( simply replacements ) and cheap.
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

I upgraded to Slotted late model 11.75" Cordoba rotors and Hawk Pads. Was an improvement on my '73.

Adding the rear disk did not make much difference over properly working drums.  They look good thru the wheels. If you do multiple hard stops the disk are better. Drum brake parking brake is better.  :Twocents:
