gas tank how empty....

im curious if you guys know if you driven your car to the point it stutters and stops, how much gas is left?


it seems to me my cat stutters at exactly 1 gallon and i looked at the filter strain and she is about submerged almost.

so when a car cant go anymore im assuming she is not really bone dry?

was talking to a racer guy and he told me thats why fuel cells are better than regular gas tanks because we are truelly bone dry when we run out of gas.

I don't know but I guess when it empty enough to sputter and stall I wouldn't much care if it was bone dry or had a gallon of unusable fuel left in there.
