I've been spending a couple of weeks in England and went to what was called a Vintage Show in Suffolk.  It was a nice show with old steam driven, military, tractors, and vintage vehicles as well as motorcycles.   Here's a few pics.  Got to see a lot of things I don't usually see and was nice to view something other than rows of street rods and muscle cars so I thought I'd share a few pics.

The Steamers were pretty nice.  Lots of work put into them

Thanks for putting the pics up, always good to see what's happening, even right around the world
Haha, those old Bedford trucks, we had a yellow J2 as a farm truck growing up, it had a huge free play to keep it centered in the lane .
And the usual Morrie thous', 2CV, Austin A40's there , the traction engines are cool though, the old guys that have and operate them are thinning out, so its good to see them at a display

Hey thanks for postiong those, you're right it is nice to see what is happening at other types of shows.  I love seeing the old steam stuff even though it scares the bejeebers out of me.

Something else different was that there was a ring set aside that the steamers and other types of vehicles all ran a parade lap around while a narrator on microphone gave some history and other interesting information about each one/type s they drove around.  Overall it was a nice show and presentation.  I don't know if anything was judged or not but the small gate fee was well worth it  :yesnod:

nice show ,cool  pics .   :2thumbs:  they have shows like that over here, normally at the swap meets.  although  a lot of those steam engines come from Australia they were bought up in the 90's we've got bugger all left

The Gods must have been smiling on you. Plenty of blue skies and sunshine.  Where's the bloody rain?

Its summer this week in the UK.  It'll start to rain again next week as they move into autumn.

Noooo.   Need to wait 2 more weeks after I get  back to SC.   Had a great day in London all day.  Pretty hot waiting for the Changing of the Guard at  Buckingham Palace. Head looks like a strawberry.  Saw a Morris 8 in the parking garage.  Actually see quite a few old vehicles being driven.   My daughters are telling me its still pouring rain back at the house.
