Need tire/wheel advice. New unforeseen dilemma!

I have a 68 with 14x7.5 "reversed" ET mags which have been on the car since 1972.  They are restored and look great.  The offset is negative something around an inch and the backspace is 3-3/8".   I have 245/60s all around which have worked perfectly for years. 

I have a problem since I installed front disc brakes on the car.  This kit had moved the front tires out by what appears to be 3/4-1". I have rubbing issues in the front fenders now at both the top of the wheel well and sometimes the front of the fender while backing and turning. I've had to jack up the torsion bars in front to drive the car which looks terrible. 

I don't know what's best to fix this.  Find two e-t ,mags with no offset and restore them to look like the rears (it might be months before I find these wheels)?  Buy smaller bfg radials for the front (but will still look funny with the fronts wheels sticking out farther)?  Or bite the bullet and buy new rims and tires for the car with positive offset for the front to offset the wider stance?  I could also do the 295/50 15 rears that I ave been craving!  This is the expensive option that I would like to avoid.  I wanted the next by purchase for the car to be exhaust...

Anybody have any other ideas?

The more I think about this I think I'm going to try to find a nice set of used zero offset 14" mags and sell my ETs.  It will fix the front spacing issue.  If I want, I'll find some spacers for the rears to even things up.  Just don't think smaller front tires will look good and finding two torque thrust ETs is going to be tough.....
