69 P/S box sector shaft removal

Guys and Gals,

I had the Charger up on axle stands during the week to replace the Pitman arm seal on my steering box as it was starting to drip.

That was a fairly easy job but unfortunately its still leaking with the new seal so i'm thinking the shaft is possibly worn and i was wondering if i am able to pull the sector shaft out and get it re-faced/chromed  etc while its in situ as i really dont want to pull the steering box out again as it was a PITA last time i pulled it out......

Or can a sleeve be made for the shaft???

Any advice appreciated
