anybody know about clutchflights ha vent herd off them for a while what is it exactly an automatic with a clutch to get you out the hole ?

As I recall it's a mod for your torque flite which eliminates the bog an auto can have when you launch the car. 
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I had one in a Super Bee many years ago.  Basically they eliminated the torque converter and had a clutch in its place and for all intents and purposes were a band aid solution until torque converter technology caught up.
Modern converters are much preferable to this setup.

The aluminum adapter bolts to a stick bellhousing and the three-fingered "spider" drives the transmission pump via the three fingersa of the clutch pressure plate.
