Which one to choose?

Decided it is time to get another truck, narrowed my choices down to two, maybe three of them...

This one at $19900, around 61k miles...loaded...

 




Or...this one....60k miles...3/4 ton...loaded as well...leather interior at $16900





Both will come with a two year powertrain warranty....

Thoughts?


The Ferd will get a new set of tires on it...


Then again, I could be sensible and get this one for $21000 has 2700 miles on it.

Is Ford 7.3L powerstroke vs Hemi? Ram. I'd definitely go with F250 unless you need fuel economy then go with Ranger.

The 250 is a 5.4l, the Ranger is a 4.0....The smarter side of me tells me the Ranger, the Dumbass side keeps saying its not as cool looking as the others...plus the fact I'm tall....maybe on the chubby side  ...so a little tight in the Ranger!

Not to mention the fact the 250 been there for a couple of months...could get it cheaper I'm sure!

02 was the last year for the 7.3 Powerstroke, after that you get the problematic 6.0 until 2007 I believe they switched. That Ranger won't get any better MPG either, I would go with the Ram.

It is the quickest and coolest looking one I must say....leaning that way

<---- My old 07 served me well for 4 yrs....that one was worked kinda hard...high mileage when I sold it....the one I choose now will have nothing to do 'cept pulling a tent trailer...a boat at times...and dump runs...I don't go play in the mud or anything!

I've had 6 fords, 2 Rangers....seems I wrecked 'em both, 4 150s, last one was a 98, was a nightmare...3 dodges...they were all good

The last Furd I drove was real bad , get a Dodge , Cummins will rule for milage / life

i sold my Ram Daytona to get my current Ranger thinking the gas mileage would be great, it wasn't.  Ram 13, Ranger 16-17, ram hemi, Ranger I4, the 250 seems way too much since you say you wont go muddin anymore

The front end on the f250 looks like it needs to be rebuilt by the looks of the way the tires are wearing. That ram looks sweet. I'd go with the ram.

Put that money towards a new one,

If I remember right there are 3 major mileage levels where vehicles depreciate... 30k, 60k, and 100k.  Each usually coincides with "repair" work needed.  If the truck is solid and you get a good price I would say go for the Dodge.  The history on the truck would be great to see.

Low ball them a # and walk out the door when they say "no way."  If they run after you they want to sell the truck.
