Did 69s get the chrome shifter knob? I thought that was a 68 only with 69s getting the simulated wood grain one.

Looks great BTW!  :drool5:   :popcrn:

Thats one of the questions posted here many times like, did 69 's have the black door handle push button, I thought that was 68 only?
I think it came in both years or mostly 68 and some drifted into 69.  My 69 had the chrome knob also but I changed it to wood to match the SE interior.
Looks awesome.  :2thumbs:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Very nice work. Fabulous details of work in progress. I am right there with you on my 68 RT with all the same headaches and passion. It has been 6 and half years for me and I am waiting for my a/c to come back from Classic Air and then the first fire up. After 11 years I am sure you are anxious too. I cant wait to follow your progress. Keep it going!

roger440

Thanks for the kind words. Im still trying to find enough air con parts to finish it! Got most of it now, but not all. It wont actually work though  ::)

Since I'm going to be starting on my T5 Charger, I put T5 in the search engine and was looking through old threads on T5 Chargers and came across this one. Allot of great work was being done on this car. Just wondering what ever came of it. It's just over a year since he last posted about it. Anyone Know  :shruggy:
