For my birthday last month I bought a NEW TDK 2 Speaker Boombox off ebay for 129.00 shipped. Boy am I impressed with the sound quality and volume of this thing!! After not having any good stereo for many years I figured I'd treat myself and started looking around. The reviews were very good and correct, I like so much I upped for the 21.00 3 year warranty.
I showed it to some guys at work who are high end system oriented and their jaws dropped. (One was leaving work to order one Friday night.  )

The MSLP of 399.00 is more in line with the sound quality then the 129.00 I paid. So far the only thing I'm not crazy about is the wire antenna, it's just a length of wire that has a plug that inserts to the back. However reception is very good even inside my humble aluminum encased mobile home. (and I have some ideas for an upgrade.)
I'm now ripping my pile of CDs to burn on my 8 and 32 GB micro flash drives so tiny they will be just a tiny bump on the side of the box.

They will also work with the USB on the front of the Sony Stereo in my Cherokee. So now the plan sooner or later is to put the same Sony in the Charger also.  :2thumbs:
