about 100 cars Saturday on the show field at least 50 were 2000 or newer.  67 cars Sunday.  30 people at best selling in the swap and Laysons and Edelbrock were the only venders.  The locals need to support it or it will be gone and we will be crying about no show instead of a small show.

For all the crying and gnashing of teeth when Gateway was shut down (for good), it seems there is a lot of apathy towards the place now.   I realize there is more to the story and the format of the event was not ideal.

I will support a local Mopar show as long as they choose to have one.  I just hope others join me.  I know at least 20 mopar guys in a 25 mile radius that did not show and Im sure there are more.

IMHO a new Gateway show on the traditional September weekend will probably do fine, assuming most of the hobby is aware that it's happening again.  It hasn't been that long since the Monster Mopar Weekend was the recognized closing of the summer show season.
