Was lucky enough recently to land a '71 hideaway grill, planning to install on a '73. Essentially, I'm looking for a "parts list" to get these operational. All I have is the bumper with the grill & doors, no brackets, motor/vacuum, etc. Not even sure if in '71 they were electric or vacuum. So, what all is needed for that year model, also, will cutting the frame rails back a bit be all that's necessary to mount the bumper properly. Any input would be appreciated. :shruggy:

Sorry I'm not going to be a big help here but you are a long way from installing that. There are some brackets to mount the door motor, the motor itself the wiring to the motor and the relay to operate the motor. Its all here in the electrical section etc. I'm not even sure if that combo would fit the 73? Good luck if you can get it working it really changes your ride
