Anybody else watching it on Discovery?  It seems like a pretty decent show based in jolly ole England.  They're restoring a Jaguar E type.  Not too bad, but one of the hosts wrecked it by backing it into an engine on a hoist as he was driving it right out of the paint booth. :brickwall:

I'll have to watch again next week :popcrn: :2thumbs:

yes ok show...I am sure that was a setup when he wrecked the car...as in all reality shows they need to add drama!......wheeler dealers is a better English show that really has no drama and focuses on the cars

Big Sugar

Yeah,     Wheeler dealers is refreshing, they actually show you the work and the mechanic is actually getting his hands dirty. Cool Show.

i saw a marathon of classic car rescue, its cool if you like it, but i swear each episode is more and more rigged, they even set up an "underground" drug dealer type scene for buying a 54 caddy bumper  ::)

I saw a little last night, didnt keep my interest.  I kinda like fast and loud????

if someone picked up "wheeler dealers" concept(people working on cars not each other) and ran  with it but with real American iron  would be a hit :2thumbs: problem is they would have to "tweak" it to "improve it" and that would be the end of that  :scratchchin:

I watched a little of it, I always liked E-type Jag's, not big on the English shows thou, didn't see the end either  :Twocents: , I went over to watch "American Icon The Muscle-car", it was far better & they had 3 old episodes about Mopar's  :2thumbs:

I spotted that show while flipping channels the other night & TRIED to watch it. Turned it on in the middle of the episode during the part where the guy buys the Jag & had to call his associate to discuss it. I managed to make it until they were breaking for a commercial & showed the preview of the next scene where his associate chews him out for paying $2000 more than what he said to spend. I thought Paul Sr. was going to come through the door to start yelling at Paul Jr. for spending 9 weeks making a fender that nobody liked. I turned on an old Quentin Tarantino  flick instead, "Killing Zoe" & opened a beer.
