If you are a horror movie fan you may want to check this one out. It was an intense ride once things started going downhill for this group. I never seen the original which was pretty rough I have heard and this one follows close I think but it was pretty dang rough itself!! It really never slowed down even toward the end and my daughter kept saying "I cant do this anymore" over and over. I like most horror movies and the remakes have been cool for the most part but this one was a wild ride that wont be forgotten by me. I will have to check out the original and see how it looks compared to this sequel or re-make or whatever it was supposed to be!! ;D

Not seen the new one yet

The special effects on the first were done on a budget of about $0.05 .....claymation FTW
was a fun film though, and played straighter than the sequels
the second is best...hilarious slapstick humour,
I felt army of drkness was trying a bit too hard to be funny, but it had it's moments

I heard the new one is back to more of a straight horror rather than the comedy of 2 and 3?

The first one was HILARIOUS. The 2nd and 3rd even more so.

Watched the original last nite and you could tell it was a  small budget movie but for its time still a good scary movie, not alot of humor in the new movie but still a good movie I thought. :icon_smile_cool:

I watched it last saturday after prom. It was terrible. Me and my girlfriend walked out cause it was too freaky/weird.

I watched Army of Darkness yesterday and it was pretty crazy!!! I liked it a lot but i'm still trying to figure out why!!! It was corny in a way but awesome in another way. I just ordered all the evil dead movies from amazon since the original was a great movie and Army of Darkness was a have to have. I haven't seen evil dead 2 yet but I will check it out when it arrives!! ;D

Saw "Paranormal Activity" in the theatre a few years back. Couldn't sleep for three weeks! Scared the bejesus's out of me. I've sworn off the scary stuff for life!

LOL  You don't need to watch the new evil dead movie then!! I like scary movies and it was pretty tense I thought!! It had a lot of elements from the original or should I say a lot of nods back to the earlier movies. I liked it tho.....  ;D
