I have been toying with the idea of drilling the hubs and axle flanges  to take  a 5/8 stud in a 5X5 bolt pattern for my 68 "stocker" ..   Any ideas on the strength of the flanges to take redrilling. Obviously I'd have a machine shop drill it so its on center.

If there's any question to structural integrity, you can get axles already drilled, and I'm sure Wilwood would drill out a set of their hubs to your required bolt pattern.  A lot safer than just guessing :yesnod:
