Hood latch and lock

Hi all, can someone tell what factory  color the hoodlatch and lock on the grillesupport where on the 1969 Charger? My guess would be silver or metal color but can't seem to find pics. Thanks

  my charger was previously unrestored & the latch was bare metal color with some sort of phosphate  coating  i think from memory ( was 25 years plus ago i cleaned my original up to re fit ) as it only had very minor ( few ) rust specks
