Can you fix a worn spider gear shaft on a sure grip??

So on a 70 8 3/4 cone style sure grip... The holes on each side where the spider gear shaft goes are worn a bit. When you split the carrier you have half the hole on each side of the carrier that the spider gear shaft rests in.  What are the options for fixing that? r

Any "fix" would cost more than the cone-type unit is worth. Only option is to replace...preferably with a Power-Lok clutch-type.

Never seen a cone type that the carrier splits in half ??????  pictures please
