not sure maybe to make sure its been inspected & certified to race in a certain class ,  maybe kind of like when a roll gage is certified to a certain ET index  for drag racing

yes agreed      i watch all KSR videos  on you tube was supprised  when they 2jz it ! 
think that charger was an original 383 four speed  before it was wrecked way back when

I liked Finnegan's car better (than this one in the ad) until he put the foreign motor in it.  

His car is really a dirt track car made out of an old Charger.  The car in this ad is more of a Charger shell draped over a non-Mopar dirt track car.

I like innovation and it's not like they ruined a decent car but if going off script, i'd rather finnegan put an Ls or coyote motor in it.
