A relative is looking at this car.
Car has supposedly been sitting inside a garage since 75. Original paint. Car is all there.
361 which turns but has not been started.
No exterior rust although there are a "couple of holes" in the truck. Truck pic is of the matt?
Frame and floors solid.
Will need interior restored but is supposely all there. Needs new top.
Seller has offered to throw a 413 in as well.
It's on the other side of the country but here are the pics he was sent.
:scratchchin:

cool
4-5k?
That's what I was thinking.
Asking $8500? Uh, no.
$8500 is a bit much for that. Just because it's original doesnt mean it needs any less than "everything" gone through. If it were a running / driving car then maybe around $5000-$6000
The 65 isn't a hugely desirable year either - not like a 68 RR or something of that nature.
I agree with RT, but,,,, for those that love the earlier "B" bodies, this is a find.. Being a whole car brings more money and everything original brings even more, but today's dollars for cars says to me, (A 65' LOVER), $6500 tops... That's not to say it isn't worth more to the right buyer. This car is more rare than a hard top, but again, the right buyer.... I would LOVE to have this car myself....
Well, he bought it. Talked him down some. Still a little high especially after you throw in crosscountry shipping.
Very good. I hope we'll get to watch the rebuild.... :2thumbs:
I'll get some pics and a better idea of what the things needs when it arrives.
Great find. If he gets the buyers blue's please PM me and I would love to have it at a little less than the $8,500 they were asking. That would go nice with my hardtop. Let me know, Joe
