Having never been a great reader of Mad, have any of the Charger classics on film ever been made fun of in their magazine? Or Cracked for that matter?
I remember years ago, when I was a kid, flipping through a MAD mag while at a store, and there was a spoof of the Dukes of Hazzard. If my memory is correct, on the cartoon drawings the GL had '00' on the doors instead of '01'.
I have now clue what year it was, probably around 1982-84 maybe.

Did some searching on the Net, Issue #219 (December 1980) had the DOH spoof, "The Dopes of Haphazzard"
Jason
They also did Bullitt (Mad Title?) and "Dirty Larry".
I have the Dirty Larry Mad in a box somewhere. Sept 72, #153
The Dopes of Haphazzard was Dec 1980, #219.
Bullbit was June 1969, #127

I found the #219 issue, but couldn't find the Dukes article.
I remember the Dopes one. There was a great line along the lines that Boss Hogg had to pull all these scams not to get rich, but to help the county pay for all the police cars Rosco was destroying.
Dirty Larry parodies the Clint Eastwood character does it not?
Ya, you might be right. Damn, that was along time ago. I tried to search it but could not come up with anything in short order.
