Hi, i am using the orange Chrysler electronic ignition
and I an looking for suggestions on what is the proper
coil to use with it.
Thank you.
I used the MSD blaster 2 and matching ballast resistor. The resistor looks close to stock and so does the coil once painted black.

Did you use it with the Chrysler Ignition???
If you are going to mount the coil horizontally use the Blaster Vibration coil or the oil will leak out , yes they work with the Mopar ign

So you recommend the Blaster 8222 over the 8203??? Do they have the same power output but the 8222 has a higher tolerance for vibration???
Would the coil stop working if the resister failed??? Can I check the resister somehow???
the blaster coils are only supposed to be mounted vertically
the vibration one will work horizontally without leaking .
the ign system will not work if the resisitor quit , you need to check for power into & out of the resistor or measure the resistance across it with an ohmmeter
