Title: Why do my istrument panel lights stay on?

I am reinstalling the dash into my 69 Charger and the instrument panel lights are staying on? The headlights are off, the parking lights are off just the instrument lights are staying on?! Any trouble shooting tips would be great

I figured it out, the instrument light supply wire was plugged into a hot output on the fuse box, I find it amazing how things can get so changed around on a car that's been around for 40+ years! lol

Good hunting tan or orange wire was switched
