Title: What distributor are you running with Edelbrock heads?
Post by: Corellian Corvette on April 16, 2010, 01:24:15 AM
I'm really struggling getting my engine to idle properly. Great power, great throttle response, but the car bucks and shakes like a bronco at idle.

I'm thinking something is up with the distributor - the timing is all over the place and I've already had the vacuum advance plate come loose.

I have the edelbrock heads and the MSD read to run I have didn't fit without some clearancing. Even now, it's a really tight fit.

What are you guys with Edelbrock heads running for Distributors?

I have a MP unit on one car with E heads,,,,, AND,,,, a MSD unit on the other car with E heads,,,,,they both work,,,,No clearance issues for me.
The MSD is a bit tight near the valve cover,,,,but still no significant problem........
hope this helps....
