Title: Furious Fuscia
Post by: Magnumcharger on January 13, 2010, 10:29:42 AM
FYI...the next high impact color avaliable for ordering on new Challengers is PINK!! Or more specifically: Furious Fuscia!

This is according to Bob Fredericks, one of the principles on Challengertalk.com
http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f5/next-hi-impact-color-31458/

If I wasn't already in the pipeline for a Plum Crazy purple Classic R/T (due to arrive 15 Feb 2010), this would easily be my first choice.

Your thoughts? Is pink TOUGH ENOUGH for a musclecar these days?

Yes!

And do you have a side shot of that chally with those rims?  From the business end I LOVE the meats on there!  Looks like old school wheels tires will work on these cars instead of the snoop dawg blades and rubberbands they put on EVERYTHING now a days!

I could live with the color if I really haaaaaaad to. :icon_smile_cool:

My only issue: the color just doesn't look as good without chrome. The new Plum Crazy seemed to really pop, even w/o chrome. My guess is that new FF would be more awesome with chrome. Oh well.

Reminds me I have to buy a lotto ticket.

I love pink, but I'm not sure about this car. I can't really put my finger on it I'm not sure if it is even really the color, for one I think that the wheel including the tires are too small and they don't fill those huge wheel wells enough.

Good Question...will have to find out! - so what are they calling the Mr Norm Cuda that they make out of the Challenger...so I guess that would make it a Dodge Cuda.

Apparently Fiat must have found a few extra buckets of Furious Fuscia laying around and slapped some on one of their little turds according to topgear.

Here is Furious Fushia....directly from Chrysler.
Yes, it's likely a Photo-shop, just like all the other high impact color representations before it.
But you can see that it's not the Fiat pink as shown above!

those last two make it look mettalic...
i think few of the hi impacts were mettallic other than the plum crazy which so far is my Fav. Hi-impact color.
I like the yellow top bannana and the go mango. but it's gonna have to be on a case by case basis.
Still, over-all, i like the blues - the medium B-5 and the Deep Water dark Blue.
And on the red side, I love the cranberry mettallic pearl on my M. It really gets tons of positive remarks, I'd love to see it on a charger or Chally. it's got a hint of blue pearl in it.
I don't know if I'd go pink unless a '70 BB charger or chally fell into my lap. I like that one Restored VChally though that has the matching stripes I think it's a convert with a white interior. pretty rare color combo I don't think I've ever seen another car like it. Did that third gen '71 Charger R/T or Super Bee that was panther pink ever finish getting restored?..
I forget but the owner used to be a regular here...
here's a pic of my M just for example I guess i prefer a mettallic burgandy over a straight up red. A pink is pretty far down the list.

My daughters are 1 and 3 yrs old.  That should give me enough time to save up for one of these in 15 years for them to drive..   :coolgleamA:

Nope! This car is the one sold originally in Moosejaw Saskatchewan to a MALE hairdresser. 440 Sixpack, Super Track Pack....loaded to the nuts.

Wow - What a combo. You would need Mega-stones to drive that in Moosejaw back in the day!
I like it. I wonder if my wife remembers it - She was an Air Force Brat back then and was in Moosejaw for a bit.
