Dad and I are looking into getting one of those back up cameras that RV's and Busses have for the trailer just for an added safety thing should one of us have to go to an out of state show by ourselves and not have a spotter when backing up the trailer. Has anyone installed one of these in their trailers? I have seen wireless units and wired units. There are a couple we have been looking at on ebay around the $200 range which is for the entire kit. Any key items to look for in getting this camera system?

I bought one but it didnt go on a trailer, I put it on my skid loader because it's sorta hard to see where you're going in reverse.
If you get one, get one that can be wired direct because just about anything can interfere with the wireless once you get over about 15 feet away. Even a cell phone can mess with it. And be forewarned that you can't just hook them up and leave them on all the time. They can only go for a few minutes at a time due to heat.... But they do have a really good picture.
Dad was thinking of having it on whenever we had the trailer hooked up. This way, we could see who was behind us when we changed lanes also.
Below is a link to the one I have. It really does have a good picture but the distance between the camera and monitor is less than 10 feet on the Bobcat. I read a lot of reviews on them before I bought it so I knew what to expect.
