Hi guys,
just wondering if anyone knows where I can buy repro wheel arch moulds for a 71 Charger. I've checked Year One, but they only seem to carry Challenger.
Any help greatly appreciated, or at the very least where I can get a good right front mould that's used. Car was scratched in transit and I've got to get quotes to fix her up.
Peter. ;D
Laysons makes them. YR1 had them in stock for a VERY VERY brief period of time and then they were discontinued again. (probably laysons refusing to ship them anymore) Last i looked, the Paddock had them listed on their website.
Thanks,
I did check out Laysons, but must have missed them. I'll have another look.
Peter.
Last I heard, Laysons was the only game in town, and they wanted about $400 for the set.
Man I think I bought my spare set at my local dealer for $80. But that was back in the day. I was smart enuf to buy alot of different spare parts back when they were cheap still .
There's a chance I may actually be able to repair the trim itself, but I needed to get an idea of cost for insurance purposes.
There's no Mopar stuff - let alone B Body stuff here in Australia. Not for U.S cars anyway.
Laysons wants $359 a set, I got some, their fine

Ebay auction link for a repop set, currently at $249, big seller, probably has more:

You see NOS mouldings quite a bit, but rarely will you ever see the one for the driver's side front fender for sale.
