Title: 69 Charger Dash Speaker Question
Post by: 69RTSE on October 02, 2005, 03:28:40 PM
I have a 69 Charger with the center dash speaker.  It was out of the car when I got it.  How is the speaker attached.  I do not see any attaching points.  It looks as if it was glued in.  Also, what is a good replacement speaker.  Thanks.

Not glued.   There should be 2 studs there.

Like Ghoste, said two studs should be attached to the dash it's self and they hold a frame that holds the 4" x 10 " speaker in place, also here's a few companies that make replacements in different combos of speakers.
