Title: painting dash frame, need help with paint
Post by: MadScientist on August 15, 2006, 12:57:00 AM
Hi all,

I am in the process of painting my dash frame with Satin Black.  I got the texture down perfect, the problem is it has too much gloss in my opinion.  Is there any way to knock it down without screwing up the texture Ive laid down?  Dust coat of clear maybe?

there is a dulling product you can buy though the name escapes me now. you just spray it over...

I know SEM and some other companies make semi-gloss and flat clear coat paints.  Maybe you could spray over it with one of those and it would dull it down a bit for you?   :shruggy:  Good luck with it.
