Title: solid motor mounts ??
Post by: Highbanked Hauler on February 17, 2020, 08:11:22 PM
In putting the engine in my 68 I noticed one of the motor mounts is separating and I know there is a sticky on repairing them as I did it on my sons car. How bad vibration problem with solid mounts ? Are they a race car thing only or they street useable ? Thanks.

I use a solid mount on my cars, the uplift side only.

The passenger side is still able to compress under load that way.

Zero vibrations & a solid mount kit of two does two cars.
