Title: Who has used the POR trunk kit?
Post by: bull on April 22, 2006, 03:30:26 PM
Someone somewhere on this site posted some info recently on a POR trunk pan pinhole kit which fixes small holes in lieu of replacing sections or entire pans. Anyone have any experience with it? What is it exactly? Fiberglass or what? Anyone ever try using JB Weld on pinholes?

I haven't used their "trunk kit" but have used POR-15 and fiberglass cloth which I believe is the same as their kit. It worked great. I patched a fairly large hole just behind my wheel well. It must have been about 15 years ago. It's still solid as a rock.
