I have a new to me 2012 Dodge Charger with a v6 engine and 5 speed auto.
My air pressure light on the dash stays on. I think when the tires were installed the sensors were left out. How do I turn off the light for good?

Can you be more specific about what was installed? Did you only get new tires or did you get new wheels as well? There's a sensor in each wheel by the valve stem. These need to be correct for the car. If any 1 is defective or missing the light will stay on.
There isn't a "reset" procedure as the light should go off after 15-20 minutes of driving if you have had to fill them up. These are kind of sensitive so, with the colder weather right now, it's possible the air pressure has dropped below the threshold. Have you checked the air pressure? You need 32-36 PSI cold.

you will need to have the sensors put back in....if they are left out, your ABS and traction control systems on your car may not function correctly. If you are in an accident and the insurance company finds out that they were left out and disabled those other systems on your car, you might be in a bit of trouble not to mention liable for the accident
