So some might remember many, MANY, years ago I mentioned that my cousin knew of a '70 Charger with a real Daytona wing on the car. I went looking for the car and never found it and that the car had disappeared from the garage where it had been since the late 70s or early 80s.
Well I just got word the other day on where the car supposedly is. Seems the wing was taken off and the car was sent to a body shop in a city 3 hours north of me. It was there for many years and from what I've heard, is still there with the body work completed or mostly completed, and that it's still there because the owner hasn't paid the body shop. Story goes they dumped $10,000-$20,000 into the car and then just stopped dumping money into the car and thus it sits.
Seems the guy was a friend of my dad's back in the 70's so I told my dad that he should get back in touch with the guy and start talking cars. :scratchchin:
Might be hard to get the ownership ?

Those are the rumors. Nothing specific.
I have the name of the guy who owns the car. My dad knows the car from his Charger days as well. The car was spotted about 10 years ago in the owner's garage before it disappeared from said garage. A cousin claims he knows the exact shop the car is at too.
It's currently located in Prince George, BC, owned by a guy everyone knows as Snakey Jake :rofl:
