Redoing dash which needs paint, the frame is black. Question is, does it need to be a flat black or semigloss? Is there a paint code for the correct shade of black?

I used this stuff on my 68 Charger with black metal dash frame. Works great and available at many different auto parts stores including O Reilly's.
