Title: Cheap undercarpet insulation?
Post by: Wakko on March 27, 2006, 12:36:44 AM
I've just completed coating my floor of my Fury with POR15 and have a new carpet to go down.  The car is on an ultra cheap budget since it's purely a chuckle car.  Anyone have ideas of what I can use for cheap undercarpet padding?  I didn't know if regular carpet padding would stand up to the heat or not.

Regular Jute padding, it what's under the carpet in most cars from the factory you can get it from a upholstery shop.
