A quick update, brought the 68 with Wilwood front discs and was informed by previous owner that he acquired the car with original front discs brakes fitted. As the brakes were dragging under hard braking i guessed it could be the wrong master cylinder and i wrongly identified the MC as a Bendix to match the power booster.
I've now looked under the MC with a hand mirror and it is stamped Wagner but I can't read the part number.
Can fellow members help by identifying what system I have, and is it right for a disc drum set up ?
If I need to change the MC can someone help with a part number for a MC that will be a direct replacement fit on to my booster.
Also was the same booster used for drums as well as discs?
Thanks for your time on this I'm sure it's been asked many times before.
The MC is obviously a disc brake unit but without a part number or actually measuring the inside diameter, they all look pretty much the same on the outside.
Just going to replace with a master cylinder for discs with the lines facing the engine. There seems to be a choice nowadays at sensible money.
You also want to make sure you get one with the same bore diameter on the inside though.
