.....they announced the release of the new Charger for this year....
:D
It's not April 1 yet.
Finally, a two door! The US execs demanded it be a four door (because Chargers are supposed to have four doors according to them) but they determined the doors could only be 18" long to accomplish this.
Shouldn't it be called the General Lisa? :shruggy:

Been going "Global Economy" for some time now. Global means our wages sink to 3rd world country wages to compete... Meanwhile CEOs make even more.
Had an article in the local paper how this really got going in the Reagan years. Do you know that today, the average white guy makes the same as he did in the 70's, adjusted for inflation?
Now, we all know the UAW union folks own half of Chrysler and they would never sell out. It is a shame however that, FIAT owns the other half. Goodbye Chrysler. :brickwall:.
so do the new cars come with a pasta cooker :nana:

It's the same here and if you don't like it, the work goes off shore leaving one without any wages at all. Bit of a catch 22. As for the CEO's, don't get me started.

Correct. The VEBA, which is the remnants of the off loaded UAW heath care costs, is what was bought by Fiat. Oddly enough, in the deal CHRYSLER actually footed most of the bill. Yeah - look it up!
Bottom line - it's now one big pocket of $$$$$.....
