Hello I have a 73 Charger that I'm removing the E Brake assembly and I was wondering how to release the cable retainer that's underneath the car by the crossmember area. I've attached a pic to show what I'm talking about. I see no spreader clips of any sort and I didn't want to hammer on it not knowing if that's the way it comes out. I want to preserve the whole assembly if possible.

Thanks

its a pain to get the clip thingy off , plan on getting a new one  ,  how its assembled , the clip is fitted on the end of cable then pushed through the  torsion bar crossmember , so clip will have to come backwards from the inside , at least on a 69 , says clip does up to 74  so assuming its the same deal to get off  :shruggy:

Thanks Tan Top that did the trick. Clip went a flying, couldn't find it in the gravel.  :brickwall: Thanks for the link leading me to a new clip.
