Will things be better between  Venezuela and USA ?

JB400

Depends on who comes in next.  We'll have to wait and see :popcrn:  Anyway, I sure hope they get a decent government in there.

According to these three knuckleheads, Hugo was  the Mother Theresa of Venezuela.    ::)

Sean Penn:

"Today the people of the United States lost a friend it never knew it had. And poor people around the world lost a champion," Penn said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "I lost a friend I was blessed to have. My thoughts are with the family of President Chavez and the people of Venezuela."

Penn, who appeared at a December candlelight vigil for the cancer-stricken leader, added, "Venezuela and its revolution will endure under the proven leadership of Vice President Maduro."

Oliver Stone:

Oliver Stone, who championed Chavez in his 2009 film "South of the Border," said on Tuesday, "I mourn a great hero to the majority of his people and those who struggle throughout the world for a place."

Stone's statement continued, "Hated by the entrenched classes, Hugo Chavez will live forever in history." He closed his comments with, "My friend, rest finally in a peace long earned."

The Wizard of Uhh's - Joe Kennedy:

Kennedy said in a condolence statement yesterday that Chavez,
notorious for nationalizing industries while suppressing Venezuela's media and his political rivals, "cared deeply about the poor of Venezuela and other nations around the world and their abject lack of even basic
necessities, whilesome of the wealthiest people on our planet have more money than they can ever reasonably expect to spend."

Nacho, know that your country isn't the only one afflicted with such traits........ May God guide the right person to take control of your homeland....

"Dear God, my prayer for 2024 is a fat bank account and a thin body. Please don't mix these up like you did the last ten years."

Nacho,

It's easy to keep an old corpse looking as fresh as the day it dropped dead.

I seriouslly doubt is a one night job ONLY... and after the job need to be taken care of heat and humidity conditions

Chavez corpse went on a caravan 8 hours long around the city under the heat of Caracas ( we began the most heat season in the year just couple of weeks ago )

what it says on the link you posted seems to be just for couple of days funeral maybe

Big  companies run big Govs. Chevez nationalized the oil companies and took the profits for the poor ...even paid hydro bills for US citizens who couldn't to pay their own bills . When you buck the system and try to run your own country, you will end up dead one way or another. Half the wars ever fought in the last 100 yrs weren't over politics or mad men's aspirations , they were fought because big corporations couldn't get their own way .

I'm not a Chevez lover by any stretch.

Nacho-RT74

Chavez didn't nationalized a SHIT... The local oil company was nationalized by Carlos Andres Perez, way back in 1975!!! the "nationalizing" speech is bullshit, just for the " revolutionary" speech and its votants, and the only change was the international oil companies cooperation changed from USA, and Europe companies, to China and Rusia companies. Thats all, thats why they call it NATIONALIZED
